(Jefferson City, MO) – The Capital Region MU Health Care Amphitheater announces the
Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class will present “Battle of the Brews” on
Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m.
The 7th annual Battle of the Brews is a fundraiser by the Chamber Leadership Class and this
year’s beneficiaries of the proceeds are the Rape & Abuse Crisis Center (RACS), Building
Community Bridges, Jefferson City Public Schools, and the Court Appointed Special
Advocates (CASA).
“Battle of the Brews has been a well-attended, fun event for the past several years and as a
fundraiser for these very important organizations in our community, we look forward to
once again bringing you the very best in regional and local craft and home brewing samples
all included in your ticket price,” said Trisha Barnes, committee chair.
Local home brewers as well as regional and nationally recognized craft breweries will be
represented at this event. Entertainment will kick off at 4:00 p.m. with our MC Erin Hart
from 94.3 KAT Country radio. Those Guys will perform from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
and then after a short intermission, Magnolia Wine will perform from 6:30 p.m. until
8:30 p.m.
Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and the event will end at 10:30 p.m. Awards will be given to the
top home and professional brewers!
